Having worked with children as AuPair & Nanny for almost two decades, I was blessed to experience children's art projects and I have receive many kids drawings. Therefore, I got to witness first hand the joy it brought them creating these art projects.

- Kids love being creative -

Spending time while being part of various families helped me realize something: open displays, verbal appreciation and celebration of children's artwork in the home makes a huge difference to those children and has an undeniable impact on their lives in terms of their mental and emotional development.

Children's art sparks innovative idea.

Growing up, my mom kept all my art work, though it wasn't displayed much compared to some of the kids' art that I experienced throughout my AuPair and Nanny years. Those art pieces I made at daycare and school were kept in storage. My mom loved them but didn't really know what to do with it. She couldn't bare the thought of throwing them out; after all, they were her daughter's creations.

Years later upon returning home and discovering all my personal artwork from my daycare years, it sparked the idea of how to preserve kids' art and what it would mean for other kids' childhood and development to having their artwork around.

"I never realized my mom kept all these." -Kristin
